Alpine Spice Fragrance-Pure Placid

Alpine Spice Fragrance

Warm. Bold. Quietly Refined.

Top: Bright bergamot and zesty lemon
Heart: Warming black pepper and cardamom
Base: Deep, earthy moss

My dad was an antiques dealer. When I was young, he’d take me along on buying trips to the Adirondack Great Camps — those massive, handbuilt lodges hidden deep in the mountains. The kind of places where entire trees became staircases, where bark stayed on the beams, where stones from the river became fireplaces tall enough to stand in.

I remember the smell of those places before I remember what they looked like. Cold air and warm wood. Something spicy and alive in the walls. The way the forest didn’t stop at the door — it just kept going, right into the room. Alpine Spice was born from those trips. Bergamot and lemon crack open like the first step outside on a cold morning. Black pepper and cardamom bring the warmth of the hearth — the spice of old wood and leather chairs pulled close to the fire. Moss grounds everything, deep and earthy, the forest floor after a week of rain.

This is the scent for when you want to feel both awake and at home. Sharpened by the cold, warmed by the fire. The wilderness and the hearth, all at once.

Why This Scent Feels the Way It Does
Citrus notes like bergamot and lemon are among the most studied mood-lifting scents, linked to increased mental clarity. Warming spices like black pepper and cardamom have been used for centuries to create a sense of groundedness and focus. Earthy moss promotes mindfulness. Together, they create a scent that both energizes and settles.
The cold air on your face. The crunch of gravel under your boots. Then the door opens, and there it is — woodsmoke, warm spice, the deep quiet of a room that’s been holding its warmth all day. Alpine Spice lives in that threshold moment.

      The Story Behind This Scent

My dad was an antiques dealer, and some of my strongest childhood memories are riding with him to the Great Camps of the Adirondacks. These places were built over a century ago by families who wanted the wilderness without giving up beauty. The lines between inside and outside blurred completely — twigs and tree bark became furniture, stones became massive fireplaces, and the smell of the forest lived in every room. Alpine Spice is my tribute to those camps, and to those drives with my dad. — Marcy

      How to Use Alpine Spice

Light the candle in the late afternoon when the light changes and the day begins its slow turn toward evening. This is a scent that belongs to the golden hour — when the work is done and the house can finally settle. Mist the room spray in your office, your den, or your reading chair when you want the air to feel more intentional, more yours.

Smooth on the lotion after a morning shower when you want to carry a quiet, grounding confidence into the day. Alpine Spice is the scent guests notice first and ask about most — sophisticated without being fussy, warm without being heavy, and always unmistakably Adirondack.
