How long do Pure Placid candles burn?
Our Classic 11oz Soy Candles burn for approximately 60-70 hours when properly cared for. Travel 2oz candles burn for about 12-15 hours. For the longest burn time, trim your wick to ¼ inch before each use and allow the wax to melt completely across the surface during the first burn.
What scents help with stress and anxiety relief?
Our entire collection is designed for stress relief, but customer favorites include:
- Balsam and Clementine: Combines balsam, clementine, lavender, and lemon for anxiety relief

Using Your Products
How do I get the best results from my candle?
For optimal performance:
- Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn

All our products are handcrafted in our 4,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Lake Placid, New York, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.

How did Pure Placid start?
Pure Placid was founded by Marcy over 10 years ago to help people use scent as self-care to reduce stress and anxiety. Inspired by childhood experiences with scent and anxiety, Marcy created a luxury fragrance line that helps customers "claim your calm" through the power of aromatherapy and Adirondack-inspired scents.
