Cashmere Sweater

Vanilla Bean - Jasmine - Sandalwood

The story Behind The SCent

At the end of every summer, my best friend and I had a ritual.

She lived in Chappaqua, and as the season turned, we'd gather lakeside one last time. We'd crack open a coconut, break it into pieces, nestle candles into the shells and light them. Then we'd sit together at the water's edge, reflect on the summer that was, and send our little floating lights out onto the lake — wishes for the year ahead.

That moment — warm, sweet, quiet, full — became the scent of Cashmere Sweater.

It opens with the soft sweetness of coconut and vanilla bean, deepens through sensual jasmine and warming ginger, and settles into the grounding warmth of sandalwood. The result is something that feels less like a fragrance and more like a feeling: the comfort of being completely at ease, wrapped up in a place you love, with nowhere else to be.

This is the scent for the evening you've been waiting for all day.

Why This Scent Feels the Way It Does
Vanilla and sandalwood are among the most studied scents in aromatherapy research. Vanilla is consistently associated with warmth, comfort, and a sense of ease — many people find it naturally softening and settling. Sandalwood is known for its grounding quality, often used in meditation practices for its ability to create a sense of stillness and presence.
Together with jasmine — long used in evening rituals for its gentle, enveloping warmth — Cashmere Sweater was crafted to be the sensory cue your body recognizes as it's okay to let go now.

How to Use Cashmere Sweater
Cashmere Sweater is made for the evening transition — the hour when the day's work is done and you're ready to shift into something slower.
Light the candle as you begin winding down — while you make tea, draw a bath, or settle into your reading chair. Spritz the linen spray on your pillow and bedding before sleep. Apply the lotion after your evening bath or shower as a quiet, intentional close to the day.
The more consistently you use the same scent in the same moment, the more powerful the signal becomes. Your body learns. Your nervous system responds. The calm comes faster every time.
