Pure Placid Brand Ambassador

Location: Pure Placid Flagship Store

Job Description: As a Brand Ambassador at Pure Placid, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand and fostering meaningful connections with our customers. Primarily working on the sales floor, you will embody our mission of guiding individuals on their journey to claim their calm through scent.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, providing personalized assistance and product recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our products, including candles, lotions, and soaps; and educate customers on the benefits of each.
  • Assist customers in discovering their ideal scent profiles and guide them in selecting products that align with their preferences and needs.
  • Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and organized throughout the store.
  • Assist candle bar managers with candle bar classes and workshops, guiding participants in creating customized candles while sharing knowledge about our fragrances
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Actively participate in store promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.

Business Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our business operations, including bookkeeping, supply ordering, managing accounts receivable & accounts payable, data entry, and other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
  • Coordinate supply ordering and inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and timely delivery of products.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update records and maintain database integrity.
  • Assist with payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HR-related tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve business goals.

Candle Bar specialist 

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Candle Bar Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching candle bar classes, assisting with the creation of special candle classes, maintaining inventory, cleaning and restocking, and providing support to the sales staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach candle bar classes to customers of all skill levels, providing guidance and assistance in creating personalized candles.
  • Maintain inventory of candle-making supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Clean and organize the candle bar area, including workstations, tools, and materials, to ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers.
  • Restock supplies and display areas to showcase our wide range of candle options and accessories.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and promote special candle-making classes and events, such as seasonal workshops or themed classes.

Production Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will work closely with the production manager to ensure the efficient creation of our candles and body care products, as well as assist in fulfillment, deliveries, organization, cleaning, and some clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Production: Collaborate with the production manager to create candles and body care products according to our standards and recipes.
  • Fulfillment and Deliveries: Prepare orders for shipment, pack products securely, and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely deliveries.
  • Organization: Maintain a well-organized production area, storage spaces, and inventory of raw materials and finished products.
  • Cleaning and Sanitization: Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment, workstations, and common areas following established protocols.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet our quality standards before packaging and shipment.
  • Assist in Clerical Tasks: Support with data entry, documentation, and record-keeping related to production, inventory, and shipments.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
