This is our favorite soap! We buy enough bars to get through the year. We love how smooth it is on the skin and the scents are subtle, not overpowering. We love the brick and mortar store in Placid too.
Sweet Citrus is one of my most favorite scents not only at Pure Placid but in the entire world. This smells amazing and refreshing, It does not leave the skin really dried out. It does make the floor of you bath and or shower slippery so just be aware. I adore the sweet citrus lotion and body wash which you can only get in the warmer months. To be able to have this in the winter and get my sweet citrus fix for the winter months is awesome.
I also just want to say that the owner Marcy is one of the most giving people/businesses in the area. You can always count on her to give some sort of donation to the various fundraisers for the all the non profits in the area. She truly gives back to this community.
It is also so nice to know that you are using products that are not filled with junk but natural stuff!
I love all the Pure Placid candles and scents. The Zen candle is perfect for my reading nook! The dry oil is not heavy and does not irritate my very sensitive skin. Total winners!
My wife and I both use the Alpine Spice lotion. We tried many different scents when we were at your store in Lake Placid, and the Alpine Spice scent stood out as our favorite!

My kid(10) and I both made candles in store. The set up was very cute and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. We couldn't decide on just one favorite scent and ended up buying more things. The staff was very helpful for both visits.
