Last week I went back to Lake Placid for some respite and I headed into the new Pure Placid Store to find out what their original scent was. To my surprise Marcy was there to answer my question & I was delighted to hear the scent I was after was ‘Mount Marcy’. I’d read all about her Entrepreneurial Rise on the Pure Placid website.
The store is beautiful, the layout is clean, uncluttered and so accessible and the staff greeting you with warm familiar smiles was like coming home.
Pure Placid will be an absolute must visit every time I get a chance to visit the place where my children were raised.

Absolutely love the cream! Scent is wonderful and it’s moisturizing. Products are amazing, just a bit cost prohibitive.
Walking in, I could feel the good energy! I was greeted by a super friendly associate and given the quick essentials on the products. The Balsam and Clementine lotion is healing in skin repairing and in calming aroma. I highly recommend Pure Placid for a positive and calming experience.
The only Lotions and Shower Gels I will use are from Pure Placid! Balsam & Clementine is my “go-to” scent but I’ve tried them all and there isn’t one I didn’t like!
The Scrubs, Soaps, Bath Salts, Foot Oil, and the list goes on are all products I have purchased as well and enjoy immensely.
I’ve even gone to a Candle-Making Class which not only has you leave with your very own creation, but is very informative as well!

Pure Placid Balsam and Clementine room spray was at an AirBNB where we stayed near Lake Placid. We all loved the spray and had to order from your company when we came home! I reminds us of our special ADK trip and the candles and room spray makes our home smell wonderful!! Thank you!!
