Thirteen years ago this month, Pure Placid started as a card table at the Keene Valley Farmers Market — me, a stack of hand-poured candles, and a few curious neighbors stopping to ask, "what IS that smell?"

Thirteen years and a real storefront later, we want to celebrate with the people who made it possible. Come by the Main Street store on Wednesday, June 10, between 4 and 6 pm. There will be cake. There will be sips. There will be a photo wall.

No RSVP needed. Just stop in, say hi, and stay a while.
